Below are the following solution steps to fully respond to the packet tracer's instruction questions and/or the PDF.

We will be solving only what is asked in the PDF. The packet tracer is irrelevant regarding completion / answers up until the end. Most of this PDF doesn't even require solving by the packet tracer.

In order to complete the PDF, you must understand this following graphic, as it depicts the naming scheme for IOS files by Cisco:

*There are two for further reference, in case one has confused you.
(So, we have the actual thing in our notes but this is MUCH easier to copy from the web. Click the URL for original crediting.)

So, the way we read "C1841-avipservicesk9-mz.124-24.T6.bin" for the following questions (the top light-blue row-- hardware, feature set, etc), is as follows:
  • "C1841" is the hardware field. 
  • "advipservicesk9" is the feature set.
  • The train number is "124"-- the one that follows "mz.".
  • The maintainence release is the "24", after the train number.
  • The train identifier is the letter after "24.", so "T".
  • The rebuild identifier is the number that follows the train identifier-- so six.

What do the letters "MZ" in the file name tell you about the file?
The letter "M" indicates that the image is executed in RAM, and the "Z" indicates the file follows a compressed format.
